A meeting place for new friends!

Following that trip to the Baby Clinic at the surgery next door, why not come in and relax, talk and play with other people with young families.

Come and be part of this new group where babies and toddlers can bring their grown ups and enjoy a time within a safe environment together.

Baby space!

Baby space is a new imitative from Leytonstone United Free Church. The aim is to create a safe space for young families to come and meet people who share their neighborhood and stage in family life. A place where friendships can be formed and where children can safely play with other children, regardless of creed, race, or language.

It is hoped that there will be a time each week for creative play, through crafts and singing. A drink and biscuit will be available for all, A story time will end each session with guest puppets from time to time bringing the magic alive for our children.

Adult Space

In this busy city it’s easy to feel isolated, so it is also hoped that Baby Space will encourage new friendships between people at a similar stage of life. Friendships that will remain for many years.

Ran for you—by you!

It is hoped that a committee of adults will be established to help shape this new venture and to work with the church in meeting the specific needs facing young families in our area.

Outings, Christmas Parties, etc can also be part of our future, and will need to be organized by this group, along with any other reasonable ideas that we can explore for the future.

The Value of Creative Play

Parents give their children many things, love, security, food and time. One of the early lessons a child learns is how to play with other children. It is hoped that “Baby Space” will be a safe environment where your child can learn to play with other children as well as to interact with the world around them.
