Minutes of Church Meeting held Sunday 18th September 2005
The meeting followed our morning worship with Revd Sivakumar Rajagopalan asking the congregation to speak to someone they didn’t know mentioning a significant happening in their life, their hopes and dreams for their family and the impact of the past 50 years. Showed the impact of Israel ’s history.
Asked members to draw a graph for the past 500 years of Great Britain against African/Caribbean, How has it affected the shape of history?
Apologies were received from Stephen and Jenny F, Jim D, Aaron C, Simon T.
Matters Arising: Study Groups: David announced subject matter from ‘Purpose Driven Life’ 2 nd October launch. Leaders and Hosts are needed. Possible days, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday’s for 6 weeks.
5. Pastoral Matters: Deandra A is recovering in hospital. Peter R, Ann and George H and Gwendolyn J are much better. Roman E has completed treatment. Michael S is receiving treatment.
Alison requested permission to trial for 6 months a Toddler Group on Mondays between 1pm and 2.30pm , requested help with refreshments, offers of toys came from the floor. Permission granted.
Finance & Management: The flooring has been completed, Jacqueline warned about sitting completely on chairs as they are inclined to slide on the new flooring.
Harvest envelopes were distributed, Bob explained where offerings were going.

Any other business: Joan requested help with stewarding for weekdays and Sundays.
