The Church belongs to both the Baptist Union and the United Reformed Church. Click on these links for more information about their work throughout the UK.

Locally we are part of the London Baptist Association and the Roding District of the URC, both of whom have web pages.

The 1st Leytonstone Girls’ Brigade Company is part of our church. Click on this link to visit the national Girls’ Brigade site.

The Waltham Forest Churches’ Night Shelter is held at our building some nights during the winter months. As a fellowship we are committed and actively involved with the newly established Waltham Forest Community Credit Union.

The Church is an active supporter of Christian Aid. Their web site contains information about campaigns and a large selection of resources available on-line.  We also support the wider church and world through our denominational projects; BMS (the Baptist Missionary Society) and the URC’s Commitment for Life programme. We also have a Traidcraft stall once a month, and encourage the purchase of fair trade products.

For our children’s work we follow Safe to Grow, a Baptist Union publication and a response to Home Office Recommendations and Guidelines to provide all voluntary groups, including churches, a framework for action to promote children’s welfare, and safeguard: our children, our teachers, and our children’s workers.

One of our neighbours in the Leytonstone Group of Christian Churches, St John’s Anglican Church also has a web site.
