Church Musical

Roger Jones’ ‘Apostle’

Although rehearsals have been put on one side for a week or two while Paul and Diane are in far-flung South America , they will recommence thereafter – watch out for announcements during Sunday morning services.

Those who have taken part so far have thought it all great fun, and would encourage as many more as possible to come and join in, whether to sing, dance, act, or just be part of a “crowd scene”.

Have you ever fancied taking part in a musical? Well, now is your chance. As part of the Leytonstone Festival we are putting on a production of ‘Apostle’ – the story of Paul’s conversion, and what happeneder for it to work, WE NEED YOU. Anyone who wants to take part is verd next. This will be performed on 14 th and 15 th of July, and in ory welcome; we need singers, dancers, actors and musicians. Don’t worry if you have never sung, danced or acted before (although if you are going to play the violin, we would like some experience!) as we can use everybody.

Rehearsals have started, and to begin with will be on Friday, from 7.30 to 9.00 pm in the chapel. As we progress we will have some rehearsals on a Saturday afternoon. You will not be expected to attend every rehearsal – just as many as you can. If you are interested in taking part please see Simon Thompson – or just turn up! If you want to act or dance, but not sing, please see Simon, as the first few rehearsals will be music only.
