This year for Advent we are focussing on the theme of light. It's a powerful symbol in the Bible, linked to life, hope, wisdom and much more. We are living in difficult times, that's for sure. But we want to ask this Advent: in these difficult times, where are the moments when light breaks through the gloom? What hope might we find in the story of Jesus's birth and the reality of his presence with us today? Join us as we discover lights will guide you home.

It begins with light! In our service we will begin by sharing our light with each other, recognising that in difficult times our connection to others becomes all the more important. But the source of our light is Jesus, the One who invites us to shine like stars in the universe.

Our tradition here is to decorate the church on the 1st Sunday of Advent. So join us if you want to have a say how the place will look for the next month or so!
